• Establish a regional and comparative baseline of information to inform 1stACT strategic initiatives

Municipal Investments in Cultural Vibrancy

• Create an economic snapshot of Silicon Valley municipal investments
• Benchmark against Bay Area, State and Nation
• Inform leaders about local investments in creating vibrant communities to sustain economic, social and cultural vitality

Silicon Valley Foundations and Local Grantmaking

• Determine current status of Silicon Valley-based foundation grant making
• Examine donor-directed funds and family foundation grantmaking

SV Corporate Support of Arts & Culture

• Determine comparative levels of Silicon Valley corporate philanthropy
